  • 2 1lb pkg
    frozen or fresh hash browns
  • 1 1/2 stick
    margarine melted
  • 1 c
    finely chopped onions
  • 1 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 pt
    sour cream regular or lite
  • 2 c
    crushed cornflakes

How to Make Party Potatoes


  1. Set aside 1/2 of the margarine. Mix remaining ingredients (except cornflakes) together in a large bowl.
  2. Pour mixture into a greased 13 x 9 baking dish.
  3. Melt remaining margarine and add to corn flakes. Spoon mixture on top
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours
