A knish is a piece of dough stuffed with potato, meat or cheese, then baked or fried. The word from Yiddish and many times from the Jewish faith. I know mine is my own creation and wouldn't fit because of the bacon. You can stuff the dough with almost anything you like, from veggies, to meat, to cheese to even dessert types. I hope you like my version of this delicious side dish. I looked at many recipes and developed this one of my own.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Who wouldn't love loaded mashed potatoes inside a buttery crescent roll? Packed with cheese and bacon this knish recipe is easy to make. It's not a traditional knish filling but it's quite tasty. A great side dish or snack. Test Kitchen Avatar The Test Kitchen
