My mother passed this recipe down to us. It has been a family recipe used throughout my entire life, especially for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is a tradition that is being passed down to my children..it is just not the holidays without Candied Sweet Potatoes. It is simple and has a wonderful "taste" of buttery orange syrup.
