Ingredients

  • 2 stick
    salted butter, room temperature
  • 3 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 tsp
    chopped fresh sage
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice, fresh

How to Make Garlic and Herb Compound Butter

Step-by-Step

  1. Chop herbs. Mince the garlic. Squeeze lemon juice.
  2. In a medium bowl, with a spoon mix the butter, herbs, garlic, and lemon.
  3. On a piece of parchment paper, form the butter into a log shape.
  4. Roll up the parchment paper to help shape the log.
  5. Cut off the excess parchment paper and place butter in a resealable bag.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
