strawberry maple butter
I made sourdough pancakes for breakfast on Valentines Day, I decided that I needed a special butter to go with the pancakes. So, after a bit of brainstorming I decided on this one and used and used a cookie cutter to cut it in the shape of a heart. Needless to say breakfast was a big hit with my family that day.

1/2 cbutter, softened

4 tsppure maple syrup

4 tspstrawberry preserves
How To Make strawberry maple butter

1Combine room temperature butter with your ingredients of choice (in this case, maple syrup and strawberry preserves).

2If you are making a log, it's easiest to roll it up in some parchment paper and refrigerate until ready to use.

3In my case, I wanted to make heart-shaped butter, so I wrapped it in plastic wrap and shaped it into a heart.

4Use on pancakes, french toast, biscuits, and even toast.
