Black and Blue Cheese butter melting over a juicy grilled steak is a blessed culinary union, but that's not the only happy marriage. Try this compound butter on a baked sweet potato too.

1 stick
butter, softened
2 oz
crubmled blue cheese
1 Tbsp
jack daniel's tennessee whiskey
1 Tbsp
finely chopped parsley
1 Tbsp
finely chopped chives
1 small
clove garlic, chopped and mashed into a paste


1Combine butter, blue cheese, Jack Daniel's, parsley, chives, and garlic in a small bowl. Blend well with a wooden spoon.
2Roll the mixture into a 1 1/2 inch diameter cylinder in a piece of waxed paper. Seal the ends and refrigerate until firm.
3Slice and place a pat of the butter over a grilled steak or serve with baked sweet potatoes.
4NOTE: this butter can be frozen until ready to use.
