Basically this is a layered dip that you serve with round tortilla chips. This dip is very popular in Texas and is great for tailgating.

Ingredients

2 large
cans, bean dip or refried beans
3 large
ripe avocados
salt to taste
pepper to taste
2 Tbsp
fresh lemon juice
1 ( 8 ) oz
carton sour cream
1/2 c
hellmanns mayonaise
1 pkg
lowery's taco seasoning
1 bunch
green onions, chopped
3 medium
tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 small
can black olives chopped
3/4 lb
mild cheddar cheese, grated
black olive slices to garnish

How to Make Mexican Buffet

Step-by-Step

  • 1Spread beans in the bottom of a large platter.
  • 2Mash avocados with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Spread over beans.
  • 3Mix sour cream with mayonnaise and taco seasoning. Spread over avocado.
  • 4Sprinkle onions, tomatoes, and chopped olives over sour cream mixture.
  • 5Top with grated cheese and garnish with olive slices

    Serve with round tortilla chips or large Fritos.
