Avocados seem to be in season in Texas all year long. The problem is that you either love them or hate them, like hominy there is no in-between. I happen to love them and will eat them anyway I can.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

  • 3 (3) pkg
    cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 2 medium
    ripe avocadoes
  • 1/2 small
    onion, grated
  • 1 to 2 dash(es)
    tobasco
  • 2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • ·
    salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 Tbsp
    hellmanns mayonaise
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh cilantro leaves, chopped for garnish

How to Make Avocado Dip

Step-by-Step

  1. Mash avocados, then blend in all the other ingredients.
  2. Cover with plastic wrap pressed against the dip, until serving time or at least 3 hours.
  3. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro if desired.
