Ingredients For cilantro pesto

  • 3 c
    fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 c
    pistachio,pinon or pumpkin seeds raw is best
  • 2-3
    cloves garlic
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1
    juice of 1 lemon or lime
  • 2 pinch
    sea salt
  • 1
    finely diced jalapeno
  • 1/2 c
    parmigiano-reggiano, grated or feta cheese

How To Make cilantro pesto

  • 1
    Blend all ingredients in food processor until mixed well.Let stand for 1 hour in refrigerator before using. can be used immediately for a marinade.
