Having gone paleo and craving some caramel goodness, I found this recipe for paleo salted caramel. Since I don't like salted caramel, I played around with it to make regular caramel. Besides, I wanted to make a paleo caramel macchiato and salt would ruin that!!

How to Make Paleo coconut caramel sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan and place over high heat
  2. Stirring frequently bring to boil
  3. Once boiling reduce heat to medium keeping it bubbling
  4. Continue to stir frequently for 15 minutes until it has reduced and thickened
  5. Let cool before serving.
