This is a brilliant sauce for hush puppies, and other things, like shrimp and scallops. Easy/Peasy to make and tastes spicy and awesome. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

Ingredients For hush puppy essentials: ultimate dipping sauce

  • PLAN/PURCHASE
  • 2 Tbsp
    ketchup, homemade, if possible
  • 2 Tbsp
    lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 Tbsp
    prepared horseradish sauce, or more to taste
  • 1 Tbsp
    mayonnaise, i prefer duke’s
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili sauce, hot or mild, your call
  • 1 tsp
    tabasco sauce
  • salt, kosher variety, to taste
  • white pepper, freshly ground, to taste
