horsey tartar sauce

This is a recipe by Gary Hanq. Just a bit of a bite depending how much Horseradish you add. I like this better then the regular store brand I was buying.

Ingredients For horsey tartar sauce

  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic fresh or jarred
  • 1 tsp
    dijon mustard or stone ground mustard
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    horseradish
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    pickle relish, sweet
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice

How To Make horsey tartar sauce

  • 1
    Mix all ingredients well and serve with fishsticks to catfish. A pleasant off white tarter sauce.

    Can use 1/3 cup Mayo.
  • 3
    Adjust the amount of Horseradish if you like.

    You can use Stone Ground or Dijon mustard.
