Easy Pesto Sauce

I like to use this Pesto as a marinade on either chicken or fish. but it also has endless uses , like it with pasta and even on sandwiches. This recipe doesn't make much but it goes a long way. This Pesto is actually very easy to make and freezes exceptionally well, so you can make a big batch and store it for future use.

Ingredients

  •   1/3 c
    olive oil or salad oil
  •   1/4 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  •   1/4 c
    chopped parsley
  •   1 small
    garlic clove ; quartered
  •   2 Tbsp
    basil or 1/2 cup fresh basil
  •   1 tsp
    salt
  •   1/4 tsp
    nutmeg

    In a blender combine all the ingredients ; cover and blend on medium speed until well mixed.
