There is nothing better than a good giblet gravy to pull your holiday meal together. This is a simple gravy that a beginner cook can make. It's a little different than other gravy because it has hard-boiled eggs. Serve alongside your Thanksgiving turkey for a tasty gravy.

Ingredients For oma's giblet gravy

  • giblets from turkey
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1
    chicken bouillon cube
  • 1/4 lg
    yellow onions
  • 10 oz
    chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp
    corn starch
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1
    celery stalk
  • 1 qt
    water
  • 4 lg
    eggs, hard-boiled

How To Make oma's giblet gravy

If the gravy is too thick, add a little water or milk to thin it.

    In a 2 quart saucepan, simmer giblets, salt, pepper, bouillon, celery, and onion in 1 quart of water for 40 to 50 minutes.
