How To Make big daddy's sunday breakfast feast

  • 1
Biscuits: Make your favorite biscuits. I make two bisquick biscuits. Add milk and a little sour cream. Bake them in my iron skillet at 400º for approximately 20 minutes. As I make them fairly big. This give a nicely browned crunch outside and leaves the inside soft and light tasting.

Mock Sauce: Take equal amounts of sour cream and mayo approximately 1/2 cup of each and put in a small saucepan with about 3 tablespoons butter and a little salt and heat is completely through while whisking to make sure it's mixed well and very smooth.

When biscuits have about 6 minutes or so left of baking time, get my large pan out and fry 4 eggs and 8 slices of of black forest ham sandwich meat. If I happen to have bacon I will fry that up and use that. Usually I don't have it though. When eggs are done (Hubs like the middle semi-hard and browned) I put 2 slices on top of each egg and top that with a slice of pepper jack cheese. I turn fire off and cover pan which melts the cheese.

While cheese is melting I take the biscuits out, cut in half then add a little butter to each one and place on plate. Top each biscuit half with the egg,ham and cheese. Then all is topped with the sauce. Man oh man is this ever good. Hubs shakes his head up and down and says hmmm hmmm with every bite. hehehe
