Ingredients

3/4 c
sugar
1 dash(es)
salt
2 Tbsp
cornstarch
3/4 c
orange juice
1 lb
( 2 cups ) pitted tart red cherries (water pack), undrained
1 stick
1 inch stick cinnamon
1/2 tsp
whole cloves
1/4 tsp
red food coloring
1 Tbsp
lemon juice

Step-By-Step

1Combine sugar, salt, and cornstarch.
Stir in orange and lemon juices.
Add undrained cherries, spices, and food coloring.
2Cook stirring constantly, over medium heat till mixture thickens and comes to boiling.
Boil two minutes.
3Before serving, remove cinnamon and cloves.
Serve warm with cooked ham.
