Since there are so many different types of Crock Pots/slow cookers and some of the newer ones cook faster then the older models; check to see if the cheese has melted after about 1 hour. If you have an older Crock Pot you may need to cook this as long as 4 hours.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 can(s)
    chili beans, 14 oz
  • 1 can(s)
    chopped green chilies, 4.5 oz
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese (cubed)
  • 8 oz
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp
    chili powder (use either mild or hot)

How to Make Crock Pot Taco Dip

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet.
  2. Drain the fat and transfer a Crock Pot.
  3. Add all of the remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on LOW 1-4 hours or until cheese is melted. (Refer to personal note for further information).
  4. Switch to a warm setting and/or leave on LOW and serve with tortilla chips.
