Ingredients For bacon tomato dip

  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 4 oz
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 c
    freshly shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onions
  • 1/4 c
    diced green bell pepper
  • 1 lg
    tomato, seeded and diced
  • 1 lb
    bacon, cooked crisp, drained and cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 dash
    black pepper, to taste
  • 1 c
    shredded lettuce (for garnish, optional)
  • 1 box
    crackers for servings

How To Make bacon tomato dip

    In medium bowl, with mixer, blend sour cream, mayonnaise, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chopped onion and green pepper, garlic powder, and black pepper.

    Add bacon crumbles to mixture. Add chopped tomato and stir well. Garnish with shredded lettuce just before serving, if desired.

    Serve with Townhouse crackers or Wheat Thins. Also good served in a bread bowl with bread cubes to dip.
