This is a variation on a Bacon Tomato dip I had come across... not a big fan of tomatoes, so I made this instead

  • 8 oz
    sour cream (fat free or regular)
  • 8 oz
    real mayonnaise (fat free or regular)
  • 1 can(s)
    real bacon bits
  • 8 oz
    grated cheese (cheddar or colby-jack)
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced onion (reconstitute w/water for 45 seconds in microwave)
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 tsp
    dried cilantro (for color) (optional)

How to Make Bacon Cheese Dip


  1. Mix all ingredients in a 4 cup bowl and refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.
  2. Makes a good spread for crackers (any kind you like) or use corn or tortilla chips vs. potato chips, as this is a heavier dip.
