Ingredients

  • 1/2 pkg
    hard cinnamon candies
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 pkg
    lemon jello
  • 1 1/2 c
    applesauce, unsweetened
  • 6 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1/2 c
    nuts, chopped

How to Make Applesauce Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Boil cinnamon candies in water until dissolved. Pour over jello and applesauce.
  2. Stir and put in refrigerator until it thickens. Put half of mixture in a pan (loaf pan works best).
  3. Add nuts to SOFTENED cream cheese. When the first half of the jello is stiff, spread the cheese mixture on it.
  4. Pour the other half of the jello mixture over the cheese. Chill until firm.
