Hearts of Palm Salad
1 can(s)(14 oz./398 ml) hearts of palm, rinsed, drained and sliced
4 Tbsplight sour cream
1/2 Tbspfreshly squeezed lemon juice, or more to taste
1/4 tspfennel seeds, ground
1 smallpinch ground himalayan sea salt, or to taste
1 smallpinch white pepper, or to taste
2 largelettuce leaves, washed and torn
How to Make Hearts of Palm Salad
- Rinse the vegetable thoroughly in a colander, drain and then slice.
- In a bowl, add sour cream, lemon juice, ground fennel seeds, sea salt and white pepper; stir to combine.
- Divide the torn lettuce among 4 small plates and place the sliced hearts of palm on top. Lightly drizzle the dressing on top. Serves 4
