This is a wonderful fall salad! Or anytime!!! I love the flavor combination in here. Its a favorite among friends and great for luncheons.

Ingredients For swiss apple salad

  • 3-4
    red and green apples, unpeeled and diced
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 2 stalk
    celery, chopped
  • 1/3 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1/3 c
    sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    white balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp
    celery seed
  • 1/2 tsp
    sea salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp
    fresh cracked black pepper or to taste
  • 2 c
    seedless red and green grapes, halved
  • 1 c
    swiss cheese, cut into 1/2" cubes
  • 1/2 c
    toasted pecans, coursely chopped
  • romaine lettuce leaves, if desired

How To Make swiss apple salad

  • 1
    Gently toss together apples with 2T lemon juice in a large bowl. Add in celery. In a small bowl combine mayo, sour cream, vinegar, sugar, celery seed, salt and pepper. Add to apple mixture and gently toss until well coated.

    Right before eating, stir in grapes, cheese and pecans. Serve on romaine lettuce leaves if desired. Sprinkle with crasins or golden raisins or both if desired.
