Ingredients For cheese apple salad

1 tspfresh lemon juice

3/4 cdairy sour cream (can substitute with plain yogurt)

2 mdtart apples*

1/2 c(2 oz.) shredded swiss cheese

1/2 c(2 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cchopped celery
-
1/3 chalved, seedless green or red grapes

1/4 ccoarsely chopped walnuts

4leaves romaine lettuce
How To Make cheese apple salad

1In a small mixing bowl, stir the 1 teaspoon lemon juice into sour cream; cover and chill.

2Cut apples into thin slices, leaving peel on; sprinkle with additional lemon juice. In medium mixing bowl, toss together apple slices, Swiss and Cheddar cheeses, celery, grapes and walnuts. Serve fruit-cheese mixture on individual lettuce lined salad plates; top with spoonfuls of sour cream mixture.

3*For a more colorful fruit salad, use a combination of red and green apples.
