This delightful treat has many uses. You can also pour the hot sauce into sterilized jars and seal with paraffin for long time storage.

Ingredients

1 C. washed blackberries, fresh or frozen
1 Tbs. lemon juice
1/4 C. sugar
1/4 C. liquid pectin

Step-By-Step

1Place the berries in a saucepan over medium heat and cook them until they come to a boil. Add the sugar and lemon juice and cook another 20 minutes. Remove from heat and add the pectin. Cool and refrigerate.
