  • 1 Tbsp
    unscented or peppermint pure castile soap
  • ·
    water
  • 1 to 2 pinch
    cayenne pepper or ground cinnamon, or powdered garlic

How to Make Insecticidal Soap Soup for Bugs

Step-by-Step

  1. The gentle vegetable oil-based soap makes a gentle and effective insecticidal spray for the garden. Fill a spray bottle with water and add a tablespoon of shaved unscented or peppermint castile soap and a pinch of either cayenne pepper, cinnamon or powdered garlic.
  2. This mixture will kill aphids, mealybugs, whiteflies and spider mites.
