How to Make Clogged Drains

Step-by-Step

  • 1When a drain is clogged with grease, pour a cup of salt and a cup of baking soda into the drain followed by a kettle of boiling water. The grease will usually dissolve immediately and open the drain.
  • 2on sluggish drains, pour 1/2 box baking soda into drain, followed by a cup of vinegar, it will foam up and "activate" like a drain cleaner, only safer for your pipes.
  • 3Coffee grounds are a no-no.They do a nice job of clogging, especially if they get mixed with grease
