You know that toy your dog loves? If you put treats in it, they go nuts for hours! But, the things tu buy can be quite expensive. So try this easy and cheap way to keep your dog gnawing at it for hours.

Ingredients For stuffing for your dog's kong

  • 1 c
    your dogs favorite kibble (dry dog food like natural balance)
  • 1/2 c
    peanut butter, low sugar, smooth

How To Make stuffing for your dog's kong

    Crush up your dog’s food using your food processor or take your frustration out and use a ziplock bag and a hammer. Mix together the crushed food and the 1/2c. of peanut butter. Stuff it in your pup’s favorite toy.

    Note: Depending on the size of toy, you may want to put more in, but start with this amount first. To really drag out the fun fest, stick the toy in the freezer after stuffing it for about a half hour and then, let your dog have a go. It will feel nice on their gums and teeth.
