For those that tried the Green Tea but do not care for the taste... don't throw the rest of the bags away, and try this! If you love Green Tea, grab a cup for yourself and some for your skin.

Ingredients For green tea toner

  • 4 tsp
    loose green tea leaf ( cut open 2 tea bags if you don't have loose leaves)
  • 1 c
    boiling mineral water
  • 1/2 c
    witch hazel (optional - to sooth acne on normal to oily skin)
  • 2 tsp
    lemon juice (optional to sooth acne on normal to oily skin)

How To Make green tea toner

  • 1
    Boil the water and steep tea bags for at least 10 minutes to make concentrated tea. Wait for the tea to cool, then pour it into a small spritzer bottle and refrigerate. Spray toner directly on clean, just-washed skin and pat it in (or apply it with a clean cotton ball). Follow with moisturizer. (Optional- To soothe acne on normal to oily skin types, add 1/2 cup of witch hazel and 2 teaspoons of lemon juice.)
