Here is a couple of paintings I do using markers. I call them "paintings" because I try to make them look like that. Also because I often add watercolors to correct flaws. Those can be called "mix-media"

1I use all types of colored markers, but prefer water based. My markers of choice are Sharpie and Bic Mark-it. -
2I prefer to use heavyweight rough paper; marker paper is just too smooth. I recommend mixed-media or watercolor paper
