INGREDIENTS

1 ½ cup silvered almonds.

¾ cup unsweetened coconut flakes.
•
2 tbsp cocoa powder or cacao powder.
•
3 tbsp coconut oil, softened or melted.
•
1 tbsp lemon juice.
•
1 ½ tsp lemon zest.
•
½ tsp vanilla extract (gluten free organic kind), or ground vanilla bean powder.
•
⅛ tsp sea salt * optional.
•
Sweetener of choice: 2 ½ tbsp raw honey (for paleo), or 2½ Tbsp maple syrup ( for vegan), or 2 tbsp Swerve® plus 25 drops liquid stevia (for low carb).
•
Garnish: 1 tbsp unsweetened chocolate chips or bar (sweetened to taste with honey or stevia), melted * optional, can omit.
