INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup ghee/clarified butter or olive oil
1 Onion
1/3 cup ginger
5 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon black ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried red chili flakes
7 cups water
2/3 cup mung beans
3 cardamom pods
2 teaspoons dried basil
2 Bay Leaves
2/3 cup rice
4 cups vegetables: (eg celery, carrots and zucchini)
1 Braggs or Soy Sauce or Salt
