This is a nice quick supper sandwich. I also do this for appetizers, slicing into 1" slices for finger sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 slice
    slices of homestyle deli turkey
  • 2 slice
    slices of deli ham
  • 1
    torpedo roll-open flat but not separated
  • 2 slice
    american cheese
  • 1 tsp
    favorite mustard
  • ·
    sweet pickle slices

How to Make Amercian Style Cuban Sandwich

Step-by-Step

  1. Open the roll and lay flat. On inside of roll spread the mustard. Lay pickle slices on one side of the roll. Layer one slice of the cheese, turkey, ham and other slice of cheese on the other side of the roll. Close and grill over low heat, panini style until sandwich is crispy and cheese is melted. Serve with coleslaw, baked beans or seasoned green beans. Quick supper idea! You can use any roll of choice. Enjoy!!!
