·1-2 lbs. browned ground beef
·1 large can of diced tomatoes with juice or one large can of tomato juice if you do not like tomato bits and pieces.
·1 can of cream of mushroom soup
·1-2 packages of taco seasoning
·1 lb. of shredded cheddar cheese or mexican cheese
·2 large bags of tortilla chips
How to Make Taco Casserole
- Brown ground beef. I boil it and drain it. By cooking it this way you have less fat or grease.
- When beef is browned and drained in a large pot place beef, tomatoes, soup and seasoning and bring to a boil. Stirring ocasionally.
- As your mixture is heating up to a boil take 2-9x13 pans and place one bag of chips per pan. When mixture had boiled turn off and using a flipper or large spoon cover chips with mixture. Top with shredded cheese. Bake at 400 degrees until the cheese melts.
- Serve with salsa, sour cream, lettuce and fresh diced tomatoes.
