Slow Cooker Crock Pot


  • 1 c
  • ·
    juice of 1 lime
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 2 lb
    boneless, skinless chicken breast, trimmed of visible fat

  • ·
    chopped fresh cilantro
  • ·
    shredded iceburg lettuce
  • ·
    black olives
  • ·
  • ·
    diced tomatoes
  • ·
    chopped red onion
  • ·
    sliced green onion
  • ·
    shredded cheese
  • ·
    sour cream
  • ·
    pinto beans
  • ·

How to Make Simple Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos


  1. Pour salsa, lime juice into slow cooker. Add chicken and stir to coat.
  2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours on low or high for 3-4 hours.
  3. Remove chicken with a slotted spoon. Shred with fork.
  4. Stir shredded chicken back into sauce. Remove some sauce if it's too wet. Set slow cooker to keep warm.
  5. Wrap flour tortillas in foil and heat in 350 degree oven until warm.
  6. Serve chicken with warm tortillas and any additional taco toppings desired.
