  • 2 pkg
    7 or 8 ounce packages frozen shelled shrimp
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 c
    and 1/2 cup finely chopped peeled tart apple
  • 2 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    curry powder
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 c
  • ·
    hot cooked rice

How to Make Shrimp Curry


  1. Cook shrimp in boiling water according to package directions. Drain
  2. Melt butter ; add apples and cook for 5 minutes
  3. Combine the flour, curry and salt; stir into apples.
  4. Add milk slowly; cook and stir until sauce thickens.
  5. Add shrimp and continue cooking until hot through, stirring occasionally.
  6. Dash curry with paprika optional
  7. Serve with fluffy rice
