  • 24
    jumbo shrimp unpeeled
  • 1/2 c
    worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 2 tsp
    cracked black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    cajun seasoning
  • 3 stick
    cold butter cut into 2 tbsp hunks
  • ·
    french bread for soaking up the sauce
  • ·
    fresh parsley for garnish

How to Make New Orleans BBQ Shrimp


  1. Place the Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, cracked black pepper, Cajun seasoning, and garlic in a large skillet. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and add in the shrimp and cook until shrimp turn pink. With a slotted spoon remove the shrimp and set aside.
  2. Whisk in the butter one chunk at a time. let the chunk melt while whisking. Continue adding the butter and whisking until all the butter is gone. Add the shrimp back to the pan and let cook about 3 minutes.
  3. Serve garnished with parsley with French bread for soaking all the sauce and plenty of napkins
