lactose free easy clam chowder

I am a late onset Lactose intollerant, but I love my clam chowder. Created this recipe so I can enjoy it again. Good for those who aren't lactose intollerant.

Ingredients For lactose free easy clam chowder

  • 1 c
    lactose free half and half
  • 2-3 sm
    prebaked potatoes
  • 1 md
    onion, sliced
  • 1 can
    chopped clams
  • 1 can
    whole baby clams
  • 1 can
    sweet corn (small can)
  • 1/4 pkg
    bacon bits
  • 1/4 Tbsp
    pat margarine
  • canola oil

How To Make lactose free easy clam chowder

  • 1
    on Medium heat, heat a saucepan. Add oil. When hot enough add onions. Cook until thye start to turn transluscent.

    Cube potatoes, add to onions. Add full can of clams (juice and all), bacon bits, corn (and juice), half and half, magarine. Reduce Heat and simmer (15 - 20 minutes).
