Ingredients For ginger shrimp

  • 1 lb
    shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tsp
    grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    white pepper
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    mirin
  • 2 tsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    cornstarch
  • 1 tsp
    each sugar and dark sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic chili paste
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 sm
    onion diced
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced

How To Make ginger shrimp

  • 1
    Place the shrimp in a bowl and add the ginger, salt, and white pepper and marinate 30 minutes. Mix the water and next 6 ingredients together and set aside.

    In a large skillet add the oil and add the shrimp and stir fry 2 minutes. Remove to a plate and set aside. Add the onion and garlic stir fry 1 minute. Add the shrimp back to pan and add the water mixture and bring to a boil.

    once thickened add the shrimp back into the pan. Cook 1 minute
