garlic broiled shrimp

I love shrimp nearly any way it can be prepared. This is one of my favorites though. Serve with baked potatoes or a side of angel hair pasta. Enjoy!

Ingredients For garlic broiled shrimp

  • 2 lb
    raw shrimp, cleaned and peeled, tails left on
  • 1/3 c
    butter, melted
  • 1/3 c
    olive oil
  • 1/4 c
    fresh chopped parsley
  • 1
    green onion, chopped
  • 3 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice
  • salt & pepper to taste

How To Make garlic broiled shrimp

  • 1
    Combine next butter, olive oil, fresh chopped parsley, green onion, garlic, and lemon juice in a large shallow dish. Add shrimp, tossing well to coat. Cover and marinate at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally

    Place shrimp in a pan and spread sauce over it. Broil shrimp 4 inches from heat for 3 to 4 minutes; Toss and broil an additional 1 to 2 minutes or until done. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

    Optional: Reserve 1/4 c. pan drippings and toss with a side of angel hair pasta if desired.
