How to Make Philly Cheese Steak ~ My Way

  1. Heat 1 Tbsp. oil up in medium skillet. Add onions and mushrooms. Saute until soft. Scrape into a bowl and set aside.
  2. Add another tablespoon of oil to pan only if needed. Bring to medium high temp and add steak. Cook until browned. Salt & pepper to taste. Set aside; keep warm.
  3. Meanwhile, heat cheese sauce in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
  4. Toast buns if desired. I open them, spray them with butter flavored cooking spray and place them under the broiler for about 4 minutes.
