    3 lb. pork shoulder roast
  • 1 bag
    (16 oz) frozen chopped collard greens
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1 box
    (32 oz) swanson chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    mccormick montreal steak seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp
    liquid smoke

How To Make slow cooker smoked pork and greens

    Place frozen collard greens in the slow cooker.

    Combine the onion, chicken broth, vinegar, sugar, steak seasoning, and liquid smoke together in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Pour over greens.

    Place roast (fat side up) over greens. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
