Ingredients For sausage goulash

  • 1 lb
    bulk pork sausage
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/2 c
    chopped green pepper
  • 1 can
    stewed tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1 c
    uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    sour cream (optional)

How To Make sausage goulash

  • 1
    Cook sausage, onions, green pepper until meat browns. Break up meat while cooking. Drain off grease.
  • 2
    Add remaining ingredients, except sour cream. Simmer 20 to 25 minutes, stir often. Add sour cream. Heat, do not boil.
