This recipe is a combination of a sausage & peppers and a sausage and kraut recipe. Wanted something different so I combined my nationalities to come up with this tastey spicey hoagie.
Yes I am half polish and half italian and like to experiment. Plus this memorial day is a cold one, so I chose to cook indoors and use my crockpot so I can entertain my family instead of grilling whole day.

Ingredients

How to Make Piccalilli Kraut Peppers and Sausage Hoagie

Step-by-Step

  1. Indoor grill or pan fry keibasa.
    Add bag of peppers and onion (or fresh cut in strips)
    Add drained kraut and marry flavors for 5mins on low.
  2. Pour pan ingredients in crockpot set on med.
    Add jar of piccalilli.
    Slow cook for 4hr.
  3. Slice rolls.
    Top rolls with sausage and other ingredients.
    ENJOY!
