mom's hamloaf with 3 glaze variations

Mom used to make this when we had leftover bits of ham from Thanksgiving or Christmas. It doesn't take a huge amount of ham, and of course, it doesn't have to look perfect because it is getting ground up anyway. It is yummy with any of the glaze variations, just bacon or catsup. One of my favorite ham recipes.

This is a very versatile recipe, You can use half ham and half ground pork and leave out the hamburger, or you can add finely chopped onion and/or green pepper to the meat mixture before baking. Also, you may substitute 1 1/2 to 2 cups of fresh bread crumbs for the cornflakes but remember to reduce the milk amount to approx 1 1/2c. You may also omit the glaze and place strips of bacon over the top of the loaves before baking or use catsup or barbecue sauce over the top during the last half hour of baking.
