Ingredients For easy, baked bbq pork chops

  • 4
    pork rib chops, trimmed, 3/4"-thick
  • 1/4 tsp
    each salt and pepper
  • 3 tsp
    olive oil
  • 1
    onion, diced
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1/3 c
    orange juice
  • 1/2 c
    bbq sauce

How To Make easy, baked bbq pork chops

    Heat oven to 400. Sprinkle chops w/ salt and pepper. Heat 2 tsp oil in oven-proof skillet, over high heat. Add chops, brown on both sides.

    Remove chops to a plate. Add 1 tsp oil to skillet. Add onion and cook until softened. Stir in garlic, cook 30 seconds.

    Add orange juice and cook for about 1 min, or until liquid is almost evaporated. Stir in BBQ sauce. Place chops in skillet. Turn chops to coat w/ sauce. Place skillet in oven for 10 mins. Serve w/ sauce spooned over chops.
