This recipe is packed with flavor, and is fork tender… it is easy/peasy to make, and since we are using the instant pot/pressure cooker, it only takes a few quick minutes from kitchen-to-table. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

Ingredients For cooking under pressure: yummy asian pork & noodles

  • PLAN/PURCHASE
  • 1 lb
    pork tenderloin, boneless
  • 1/4 c
    tamari sauce, or liquid aminos
  • 6 oz
    pineapple juice
  • 1 - 2 Tbsp
    flour, or cornstarch
  • 2 tsp
    ginger, freshly grated
  • 1 - 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp
    fresh clover honey
  • 1 dash
    toasted sesame oil
  • ADDITIONAL ITEMS
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • noodles or rice, for serving
  • toasted sesame seeds, for sprinkling

How To Make cooking under pressure: yummy asian pork & noodles

    Gather your ingredients (mise en place).

    Cut the pork into 1/4-inch (0.6cm), slices.
  • 4
    Add the tamari sauce, and pineapple juice to a bowl, and whisk in the flour. Then, add the remaining ingredients, combine, and add the pork.

    Let sit for 20 – 30 minutes.

    Add to the bowl of your instant pot/pressure cooker.

    Chef’s Tip: To save cleaning up a bowl, mix all the ingredients in the instant pot/pressure cooker.

    Add a steamer rack, and place the egg on top.

    Seal, and cook at high pressure for 10 minutes. Then, let rest for 5 minutes, and release the remaining pressure.

    Serve over noodles, or rice, and do not forget to peel the egg, slice it in half, and serve on top, with maybe a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Enjoy.
