Ingredients For cooking under pressure: easy/peasy bbq pulled pork

  • PLAN/PURCHASE
  • 1 tsp
    grapeseed oil
  • dry pork rub, more on this later
  • 2 lb
    pork shoulder, or tenderloin
  • 1/2 c
    beef stock, not broth
  • bbq sauce, your choice
  • ADDITIONAL ITEMS
  • coleslaw, on the side
  • extra sauce, on the side

    For this recipe you will require the services of a pressure cooker, or instant pot.

    Gather your ingredients (mise en place).

    Rub the pork with the dry spice rub of your choice and let sit in the fridge for an hour or two.

    Add the pork and beef stock to your pressure cooker or Instant Pot.

    Pressure cook on high for 60 minutes.

    Remove from the cooker, allow to cool for a bit, and then shred.

    Drain off the accumulated liquids.
