How to Make Chili Cookoff for a Crowd
- Brown both meats seasoning with garlic powder, salt and pepper and drain any grease.
- Next combine all ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil. Once at bowl stage drop temp down and simmer for 3 hours on low.
- It's best to make a day before an event. It tastes better the longer the flavors are able to meld together. If it's to spicy for your taste simply just used diced tomatoes rather than with the green chiles.
- Great to garnish with fritos, sourcream, and cheese. Myself I like it just as it is.
