Since we live several miles from town, we can't go get Pizza as often as we would like. I decided that I would start making them at home and it has pretty much become a Sunday night ritual. Our 7 year old is very picky and, for the most part, she usually demands cheese only. I knew that she loved BBQ Pork sandwiches so, I decided to try the BBQ in a Pizza form. The result? She loves it!

How To Make bbq pizza

  • 1
Prepare your crust as directed. If using the recipe that I linked, you will need to prepare it 2 hours prior to making your pizza.
  • 2
When ready to prepare your pizza, preheat the oven to 425.
  • 3
Spread your pizza crust out onto a pizza pan (mine is a 16 inch diameter)
  • 4
Combine the Spaghetti/Pizza sauce with the BBQ Sauce and spread onto the crust.
  • 5
Top with "dollops" of BBQ Pork and then both of the cheeses.
  • 6
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until done.
  • 7
While the pizza is baking, melt butter in a saucepan and add the chopped garlic. Simmer for a few minutes to flavor the butter with the garlic.
  • 8
After taking the pizza out, brush the garlic butter on the crust edge.
