Ingredients For barbecue pork ribs

  • 1 lg
    rack (aka slab) baby back pork ribs
  • 1 Tbsp
    dry steak seasoning, or as needed
  • 1 1/2 c
    bbq sauce, or as needed, divided

How To Make barbecue pork ribs

    Spray 4 pieces of aluminum foil with cooking spray. Remove the membrane from the ribs and then portion 4 to 5 ribs before placing each portion on prepared aluminum foil. Sprinkle dry steak seasoning on both sides and rub it in. Brush the ribs liberally with BBQ sauce on both sides making sure to place the meat side down. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or overnight.

    Preheat oven to 300ºF (150ºC) for 2 ½ hours. Remove from the heat and turn the broiler on. Remove the ribs from the aluminum foil1 and place them, meat side up, on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil; discard used foil and liquid.

    Brush on more BBQ sauce to coat the entire surface. Move up the rack up to the 2nd from the top. Transfer ribs to the oven and broil for 4 to 6 minutes
